Description: Glamping site in South Sweden Hemma på Hult

Glamping Sweden, the glamping trend has come to south Sweden.

Glamping South Sweden, check out for luxury camping close to nature, in a secluded spot and with access to excellent food and outdoor activities. This is an excellent city break option for Swedes and international visitors looking for the simple luxurious in life.

Camping a Swedish tradition

Most Swedes are brought up with a camping experience from their childhood.  The memories are of sunny days outside the tent or a caravan. A modest and often jammed life style. Back to nature, but crowded.

Glamping is quite the difference.  It is you and your family or friends in an exclusive setting offered by nature

GoNatuerTrip visited the farm resort Hemma på Hult  to get an insight in a Swedish version of Glamping.  At Hemma på Hult they have chosen to offer glamping with full board

Chatrine the owner told us more:

” Our Hults farm is on far eastern fringe of Lake Vättern “biosphere reserve Östra Vätternbranterna”  The farm has a long history of offering guests accommodation, actually as far back as 1754. Originally as a guest house, but today as a sustainable farm hotel. “

A typical glamping experience is for 2 days and Chatrine explains more in depth the experience

“We will meet you at the parking and help you to the tent, a secluded place in the forest, with striking views of the forest, meadows and lakes. At the same time not far away from the farm and the barns. Shortly after check-in, a picnic basket with homemade goodies awaits outside the tent. Later, when the sun goes down, dinner is also served at the tent, obviously with a focus on local produce and from my kitchen. If you want, you can of course choose to eat in their beautiful barn or on the outdoor terrace instead.”

Chatrine has her own take on Swedish traditional food a legacy from her mother and her love for her kitchen garden, her knowledge of the forest, herbs and edible plants and their passion for sustainability

Chatrine shows us the tents

“Sleeping is done in these tents. They are simple, but with everything you need. We have focused on comfortable beds, food and the natural experience of waking up, after a nice night’s sleep, to a lovely breakfast basket with fresh bread, eggs, yoghurt, tea / coffee, etc.”
