Vikbron is Sweden’s longest wooden bridge of its kind. It’s beautiful wooden structure spanning 133 meters over the Ljungan´s shiny water. The bridge was originally built by local leaders to avoid paying taxes to cross the main bridge over the river Ljungan in the late 19th centaury,
Hike along Ljungan or follow the footsteps of the king Olof Haraldsson (year 1030) by walking on the Pilgrim’s Route St. Olav’s Way or the Old Kings’ Road.
Along the river you will find nice places to swim with facilities to grill outdoors.
